Social Communication Program

We offer coaching and direct instruction in social competencies for children and adults of any age who are looking to improve their relationships, social reputation, and overall communication across environments. Social competencies are a set of skills that include social awareness and interpretation, conversational skills, conflict resolution/problem-solving skills, relationship/friendship skills, self-awareness, and self-management skills. Therapy will emphasize understanding yourself in order to successfully navigate your social world; resulting in strengthened relationships.

Using principles of Social Thinking (C), Zones of Regulation (C), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), and other evidence-based strategies, you or your child will feel more confident navigating the social world and understanding your role in it.

Coaching and instruction can be delivered both in individual and small group settings, depending on the individual's age and needs.

“To truly understand others, we must learn to see things from their perspective”
